Max Casini

Prior  to ACTiO, Max was a Co- Founder & Head of Sales at Redburn, where his responsibilities included corporate and expert access. Redburn was founded in 2003, became the leading independent pan-European equities research house, and recently sold a stake to Rothschild. He was previously Head of European Sales at Robert Fleming Securities and worked at JP Morgan, Baring Securities and Carnegie International, covering small and mid-cap Italian equities. Prior to entering financial services, Max worked in the technology arm of PA Consulting Services. He is a graduate of Imperial College, London.



Scott Evans

Scott has held senior positions at a number of investment banks, including Merrill Lynch, UBS and ABN Amro. He has been a head of research and a head of sales and has achieved top rankings in both disciplines. He has worked closely with a large number of companies, both public and private and advised on a substantial number of corporate transactions. Prior to investment banking, Scott was an academic economist at the Institute of Economics and Statistics and the Institute for Fiscal Studies. For a number of years he taught economics at Oriel College, Oxford and has been a visiting lecturer at  Birmingham and Brunel Universities. In addition to his role at ACTiO, Scott currently has a research position at London Business School.

Alex Popplewell

Alex formulated pioneering SRI/ESG policy at MAM/MLIM and BlackRock between 1995 and 2009 while managing multi-asset portfolios for local authority, educational and religious institutional clients. He led engagement in key early Climate Change (IIGCC) and other industry collaborative engagements working with CEO Larry Fink to sign up to the UN PRI as the first major US asset manager to show serious ESG commitment. He remains an active consultant on practical ESG investment issues for investors and corporates. Alex holds a degree in economics from Downing College, Cambridge.
